Classic Carriers, a family owned and centered company based in Versailles, OH in business for over 40 years needs safe and dependable drivers! Our lanes focus on lanes from OH & IN to the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Upper Midwest.

Both Plans Pay Base Rate Using dispatched PRACTICAL MILES (see schedule below) PLUS
  • Additional stops/pickups pay $25 each
  • Detention pay is $20 per hour and starts one hour after appointment time
  • Layover pay is $150 per night
  • Holiday Pay is $150 per holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year s Day)
  • Weekend deliveries are a $100 bonus
  • NYC trips (rarely and not forced) are a $150 bonus, if you choose to go
    Available bonuses include
    • Longevity bonus is paid quarterly at $0.02 CPM per dispatched PRACTICAL mile
    • Safety bonus is paid quarterly at $0.03 CPM per dispatched PRACTICAL mile (if qualify)
      Pay Schedule for Frills Package (includes insurance plus paid vacation and 401k see below)
      • Starting pay $0.56 CPM
      • 6 months $0.58 CPM
      • 12 months $0.60 CPM
      • 24 months $0.62 CPM
        Additional OTR Driver Benefits
        • Health insurance after 30 days
        • Company-paid dental insurance after 30 days
        • Company-paid life insurance $20,000 after 30 days
        • STD (Short-Term Disability) insurance after 30 days
        • 401(k) w/ company match
        • Per diem ($80 per night on the road)
          Pay Plan Option No Frills - Pay Schedule for No-Frills Package (No Benefits)
          • Starting pay $0.66 CPM
          • 6 months $0.68 CPM
          • 12 months $0.70 CPM
          • 24 months $0.72 CPM
            Trucking Perks with Classic Carriers:
            • 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias with automatic trans, fridge, 1500w inverter, optimized idle system
            • Family rider policy after 90 days (immediate family only and must be age 14+)
            • Dogs and cats allowed in trucks under 40 lbs with deposit
            • Optional streaming TV service in truck ($15.63 deducted weekly but reimbursed at the end of quarter if you qualify for the safety bonus)
            • Access driver lounge with shower, free laundry facilities, kitchen, cable TV and recliners
              OTR Driver Job Qualifications
              • Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) or enter our driver training program
              • Must possess two years of recent verifiable experience, which can include military experience
              • If have less than two years verifiable experience, can enter our driver training program to get certified
              • Must be at least 21 years old
              • Must possess acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) based on hiring standards
              • No 15 MPH over speeding citations in past 3 years
              • No DOT preventable, recordable accidents in last 5 years
              • No felonies
              • Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements under section 391 of the Federal Motor Carriers (FMC) regulations
                Job Duties:
                • Operate tractor-trailer combination with reefer unit
                • Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment
                • Hook/unhook trailers
                • Verify and complete required documentation and reports
                • Maintain accurate daily logs
                • Communicate with dispatch as required
                • Demonstrate excellent customer service
                • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
                • Perform other duties as required
