Job description

We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician for a 6-month locum assignment at two outpatient sites in the Tacoma/Gig Harbor area. This is a full-time outpatient role, starting as soon as credentialing is complete, with a strong possibility for extension.

Schedule:

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Shift: 4 days/week

    • Mon, Wed, Thurs: Tacoma Area

    • Fri: Gig Harbor Area

    • Tuesdays off

  • Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Weekend Call: Shared rotation, no more than 1 in 4 weekends (Friday PM to Monday AM)

  • Night Call: Optional (not required at this time)

Clinical Info:

  • Patient Volume: /day

  • New Consults: 60 minutes

  • Follow-ups (Oncology/Hematology): 20 minutes

  • Required Procedures: None (Bone marrow aspirations optional)

  • EMR: Epic

  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Hematology/Oncology

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

  • WA State License or IMLC LOQ ready

  • Fellowship Completed

  • Active BLS

  • Clean malpractice/background preferred
