Please ask about our generous referral fees!o Locum tenens opportunityo Seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeono Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma is requiredo Ongoing coverage need beginning in Septembero Client needs at least one provider to cover three weekends per month
o Schedule:• Friday 6:00a - Monday 6:00a• 6:00a - 4:00p: Hospital rounds, consults, and limited clinic responsibilities• 4:00p - 6:00a: On-call coverage
o Clinical Responsibilities:• Morning rounds daily with APP/PA team beginning at 6:00a• Evaluate consults and perform surgical procedures as needed• APP team manages first call coverage• Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon serves as second call• Trauma surgeons do not perform elective procedures• Manage orthopedic trauma cases including:• Pelvic fractures• Hip fractures• Complex trauma cases in collaboration with general orthopedics when needed
o Volume Expectations:• Average inpatient census: 10 patients• Average admissions: 2-3 per day• Average consults: 5 per day• Average evaluations: 5 per day• Average surgical cases: 3-4 per day/night
o Additional Details:• EMR: Epic• Dedicated APP support for rounding and first call coverage• Residence Inn offers preferred hospital rates for lodging
