Job Title: Warehouse Associate - Shipping/Receving Department
Location: Old Lyme, CT
- Pay Range: $18.75
- Hire Type - Temp to Hire
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30PM
Job Summary:
Warehouse Associate needed for a wholesale-only distributor serving the marine, RV, and PWC industries for over 45 years. This role supports shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck when needed
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately, use of RF Scanners
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and shipment accuracy
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred; certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
Work Environment:
- Warehouse setting
- Standing, walking, lifting, bending throughout shift
