    Job Details
  • Registered Nurse position in Acute Rehabilitation specialty.
  • Inpatient experience required with med/surg background.
  • Confident in skills and prior travel experience preferred.
  • Rotation every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) with regular staff.
  • May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
  • Use of EPIC electronic health record system.
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification (AHA) required.
  • NIH Certification required.
  • Current nursing license verified via Nursys within 30 days prior to start.
  • Ascension Specialty Exam with minimum 80% passing score required prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years.
  • Ascension Core Competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years.
  • Ascension Epic Test-Out and Training Checklist with signed attestation required.
  • Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually for specialty.
  • Various health and immunization requirements including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine (optional), Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, TB testing and questionnaire.
  • Background checks including criminal background, EPLS, and employment verification required.
  • Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation and Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding required.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night Shift).
  • Rotation every other week (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) with regular staff.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Acute Rehabilitation unit specialty.
    Additional Details
  • Prior travel experience required.
  • May need to float to other sites within 40 miles if needed.
