PRINCIPAL DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be highly motivated and capable of
working both independently and as part of a teamDemonstrate advanced knowledge of
cardiovascular pathophysiologyProvide and maintain a therapeutic environment for
patients and familiesUtilize equipment and supplies, and nursing resources
appropriatelyFoster continuity of patient care and efficient use of
resources Facilitate consistent, efficient information flow
among all staffAssure that all documentation and billing requirements
are met Communicate and educate effectively at all levelsDemonstrate and foster a high standard of
professionalism and collaboration at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Current
Nursing Registration in MassachusettsCurrent
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationsAdvanced
knowledge and skills for assessment and evaluation of chronically ill cardiac
patientsMust be
physically capable of lifting (linen, supplies, patients, etc)
