This opportunity offers a manageable patient volume, strong specialist support, and a collaborative care environment designed to ensure efficient patient care and smooth clinical operations.Position Highlights• Emergency Department renovated and expanded in 2017• 18-bed Emergency Department• Annual patient volume of approximately 16,000 visits• Solo physician coverage with Advanced Practice Provider support daily from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM• Shift structure includes: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM • Small overlap between shifts to ensure smooth patient handoff and continuity of carePractice Environment• Separate walk-in clinic located across the street• Walk-in clinic staffed by a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM• Strong relationships with tertiary care hospitals for patient transfers• Access to specialist consultation, including psychiatry• Trauma team available and required to be on-site within 20 minutesClinical Support• Advanced Practice Provider support during peak hours• Efficient patient triage supported by adjacent urgent care services• Access to regional specialty resources for complex cases• Collaborative emergency care team focused on patient safety and quality outcomesThis opportunity provides emergency physicians with a balanced clinical environment, manageable patient volume, and strong institutional support while delivering high-quality emergency care to the community.
