    Certification Details
  • BLS (Must be American Heart Association certified).
  • Current nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start.

  • Post-Surgical Unit with 22 beds and a patient ratio of 1:4-5.
  • Job title: 5S Nights shift from 18:45 to 07:15.
    Job Requirements
  • Must have current nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start.
  • Completion of Ascension Pharmacology Exam with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years.
  • Completion of Ascension Medical Surgical Exam with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years.
  • Completion of Ascension Core Competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years.
  • Completion of Ascension EKG Exam with minimum 80% score, updated every 3 years.
  • Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start; updated annually for specialty.
  • Documentation of required vaccinations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza vaccine (optional), Fit Test, Positive PPD or IGRA with chest X-ray if applicable, and Health Statement updated annually.
  • Must provide two professional references prior to first assignment.
  • Completion of criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other required checks within 90 days of first assignment.
  • Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start.
  • Third-party employment verification for past seven years, updated annually.
