We are seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join a growing emergency medicine team providing high-quality, state-of-the-art care to a diverse patient population in the Merrimack Valley region of Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.
The emergency medicine team includes more than 30 physicians and advanced practice providers within an integrated department supported by administrative and quality resources in EMS, ultrasound, international emergency medicine, wilderness medicine, and quality/patient safety. Family medicine residents also rotate through the emergency department, and providers work across multiple campuses using a shared electronic health record.
Schedule
32 or 28 hours per week, with 2 weekends per month.
Nocturnist role with overnight shifts and a significant shift differential.
Nocturnists have considerable flexibility and control over their schedule.
Option A: 28 hours per week with 1 weekend.
Option B: 24 hours per week with 2 weekends.
Qualifications
MD, DO, or foreign medical equivalent.
Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency.
Eligible for full, unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure.
BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.
Active ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Compensation and Benefits
We are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $200 to $300 per hour, excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses. Final compensation will be based on education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to allow for future salary growth.

About the Emergency Departments
The emergency departments provide a full spectrum of care, including trauma and resuscitation services, dedicated imaging access, observation services, behavioral health support, and advanced emergency medicine capabilities. Annual volumes range from approximately 18,000 to 67,000 visits depending on location.
The department is supported by a collaborative team and a shared EHR, ensuring seamless coordination of care across campuses.
