Job description

A Well established and highly respected hospice facility in Austin, Texas, is actively recruiting a physician to join their Hospice and Palliative care team.

Opportunity

  • 80-90% Clinical / 10-20% Administrative
  • Provide home team patient visits (including facility patient visits)
  • Provide clinical visits to all IPU patients and palliative care patients
  • Act as liaison with private physicians
  • Manage a team of 2 Nurse Practitioners and 2 PRN s
  • Participate in on call schedule: typically, 1 weekday night per week, 1 weekend per month and 1-2 holidays per year
  • Full time opportunity: Monday Friday, 8 5

Apply if you:

  • Have a MD or DO from an accredited University
  • Are board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
  • Have experience in end-of-life care.
  • Have a valid, unrestricted, DEA registration
