Locums OB/GYN Call Only, Inpatient Palmer, AK (Alaska license required)Why This Role

- Call-only role (no clinic), ongoing, starting late July
- Full-scope OB/GYN call: deliveries plus surgical GYN coverage
- Cerner/Athena EMR; ANC the nearest airport
Assignment Details- Start: July 21, 2026 - ongoing (provider decision date 6/30)
- Setting: inpatient, call only
- Call: beeper, 30-minute response; covers both assigned and unassigned patients
- Volume: 5 patients/shift, 2 admissions, 5 phone consults; 40% call-back
- Beds: 10
- EMR: Cerner/Athena
- Trauma Level 3
- Credentialing: 5 days (emergency credentialing)
Clinical Details (all required)- OB: low- and high-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound performance + interpretation (Level I/screening and Level II/targeted), amniocentesis
- L&D: routine delivery (vaginal, low forceps, c-section decision-making), complicated delivery (c-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions), VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- GYN: office/minor (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP), surgical GYN (open; laparoscopic diagnostic/minor - tubal ligation, LOAs; operative/major - ectopic, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOAs)
Requirements- Board certified or board eligible
- Active Alaska license (Alaska-licensed providers only)
- BLS, PALS
Compensation- Rate negotiable, open to your number
