Radiology - Interventional Physician

J.D. Hawkins & Associates

Not Specified, Arkansas, United States

Job description

Interventional Radiologist Private Practice Partnership Track 90%+ IR $800K+ Potential 12 Weeks PTO

Not every Interventional Radiology opportunity is the same.

If you've been looking for a true private practice where you can build a career and not just take another job, this is one worth taking a closer look at.

A respected physician-owned radiology group in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is adding an Interventional Radiologist to its team due to continued growth. The practice has been serving the community for decades and has built an outstanding reputation throughout the region.

This is an IR-first position. The majority of your time will be spent performing procedures, not sitting behind a workstation reading diagnostic studies all day. While there is some diagnostic work to support the group, the focus of this role has always been Interventional Radiology.

The Practice

You'll join a team of seven radiologists, including three Interventional Radiologists, covering two hospitals, one of which is a Level II Trauma Center.

The practice includes:

  • Dedicated outpatient IR clinic
  • Inpatient consult service
  • Strong referral relationships across multiple specialties
  • Experienced APPs, nursing staff, technologists, and clinical coordinators who know IR and keep the day running efficiently

You'll perform a broad mix of procedures, including peripheral vascular work, oncology interventions, venous disease, embolization, TIPS, vertebral augmentation, biopsies, drains, and more.

Expect a busy but manageable schedule with approximately 10-12 procedures per day and a shared 1:3 call rotation. A four-day work week is also available for physicians looking for additional flexibility.

Compensation
  • Competitive base salary at the 75th Percentile MGMA
  • Partnership opportunity with $800,000+ income potential
  • $75,000 signing bonus
  • Relocation assistance
  • 12 weeks of paid time off
  • CME allowance
  • 100% health insurance for you and your family beginning Day One
  • 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing
Why Physicians Love Hot Springs

Hot Springs is one of those places people visit on vacation and eventually wonder why they don't live there.

Nestled in the Ouachita Mountains, the area offers a pace of life that's hard to find today. You can finish a full day in the lab and be on Lake Hamilton or Lake Ouachita within minutes. Whether it's boating with family, fishing before work, hiking the surrounding mountain trails, or squeezing in a round of golf, it's all right outside your back door.

The historic downtown has its own personality with local restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, live music, and the famous bathhouses that put Hot Springs on the map. It's a community where people know their neighbors, traffic isn't part of your day, and your weekends don't disappear sitting in a car.

Housing is affordable, lakefront property is actually attainable, and you'll have easy access to Little Rock while still enjoying everything that comes with mountain and lake living.

For physicians raising a family or simply looking to slow down without slowing their career, it's a difficult place to beat.

If you're interested in joining a physician-owned group where partnership is real, the earning potential is exceptional, and the lifestyle is just as rewarding as the practice, I'd be happy to share more details.
