Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Petersburg, VA

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, including C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and other necessary procedures.
- Manage patient care in a hospital setting with a clinic schedule of about 20 patients per day.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage, maintaining a call ratio of 1 to 4.
- Work closely with support staff, including OBHG hospitalists, surgical assistants, and nursing personnel.
- Utilize the EPIC documentation system for patient records and reporting.
- Handle nursery admissions and collaborate with care teams on high-risk pregnancies as directed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Active Virginia DEA and CSR - REQUIRED
- Current Virginia medical license - REQUIRED
- Certification by ABOG and BLS - REQUIRED
- Must demonstrate ability to cover all required call and practice dates - REQUIRED
- Submit procedure logs evidencing a minimum of 50 deliveries, with at least 15 being C-sections in the last 12 months - REQUIRED
- Self-query NPBD report as part of the credentialing process - REQUIRED
- Clean background required for temp credentialing consideration - REQUIRED
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- Active Virginia medical license, DEA, and CSR.
- ABOG and BLS certifications.
