- Location: Central North Carolina
- Facility: Inpatient ; Open ICU
- Patient Census: Adult, ped, and newborn nursery required
- Procedures:
- Required: Vent management, intubations, EKG interpretation
- Preferred: Central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations
- Coverage:
- Physician: 8:00pm-8:00am
- Support: 4-6 RN s
- Call: N/A
- EMR System: Meditech
Requirements:
- Certification:
- BC in FM; sees adults, pediatrics and newborn nursery patients with NRP certification or IM and PEDS BC physician
- Hospitalist that is BC in PEDS; that sees pediatric and newborn nursery patients or BC in FM and sees pediatric patients and newborn nursery with NRP certification
- License: Active North Carolina upon presentation
- Life Certifications: NRP, ACLS, BLS, PALS
