Job description

We are seeking a NursePractitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatientGastroenterology practice. This full-time opportunity offers a flexibleschedule, excellent compensation, and the chance to practice in beautiful ruralWyoming while working alongside an experienced gastroenterology team.

No prior Gastroenterologyexperience is required-providers with a strong primary care or internalmedicine background are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-Time
  • Practice Setting: Outpatient Gastroenterology
  • Patient Population: Adults
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 12-16 patients per day
  • Schedule Includes:
    • 2 days per week in Sheridan
    • 2 days per week in Gillette/Buffalo
    • 1 remote administrative day each week
  • Travel: Travel expenses between clinic locations are fully covered

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage adult patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory studies.
  • Develop treatment plans and provide patient education.
  • Collaborate with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $115,000-$125,000 annually

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Eligible for or active Wyoming license
  • Primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine experience preferred
  • Gastroenterology experience is not required-training will be provided
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
