We are seeking an experiencedNurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatientGastroenterology practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. No prior Gastroenterologyexperience is required-providers with a strong primary care or internalmedicine background are encouraged to apply
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Lunch: 1-hour daily
- Patient Population: Adults (18+)
- Patient Volume: Approximately 12-16 patients per day
- Hospital Rounding: Rotation every 6 weeks
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult patients with acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
- Perform new patient consultations, follow-up visits, and treatment planning.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies.
- Educate patients on disease management, medications, and preventive care.
- Participate in a rotating inpatient rounding schedule every six weeks.
- Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and the clinical support team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Board Certified as an NP or PA
- Eligible for or active Colorado license
- Gastroenterology or adult internal medicine experience preferred
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
