Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity Pennsylvania
A healthcare organization is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to support a newly established oncology practice. This is a full-time outpatient-focused opportunity providing care to adult patients within a community-based oncology setting.
Compensation:
$500/hr

Practice Setting
Community-based Hematology and Oncology practice
Outpatient clinic with hospital affiliation
Adult patient population (18+)
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
Develop treatment plans for a broad range of malignancies and hematologic disorders
Provide follow-up care and ongoing disease management
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Participate in growth and development of a newly established oncology program

One employed Hematology/Oncology physician currently on staff
General oncology and hematology patient population
Community-focused practice model

Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
Active Pennsylvania license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification required
DEA required
Comfortable practicing in a community oncology setting
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
Ideal Candidate
Interested in helping establish and grow a new oncology practice
Strong background in general hematology and oncology
Comfortable practicing independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
Available for full-time coverage throughout the assignment period
