Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurological surgical care to adult patients
- Handle both routine and complex spine cases
- Perform necessary inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Participate in night call and weekend call duties
- Effective collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Neurological Surgery within 3-5 years of residency
- Active state medical license and DEA registration
- FLURO certification required (temporary FLURO acceptable)
- Minimum case log: 100 cases in the past 24 months
Working Hours
- Weekdays: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (including call responsibilities)
- Night call: 5:00 PM - 8:30 AM
- Weekends: 24-hour call coverage
Skills
- Expertise in general neurosurgery, trauma, and spinal surgery with and without instrumentation
- Competence in placement of ICP monitors
- Proficiency in managing a range of neurological conditions, including tumors and complex spine cases
