Orthopedics Physician

Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: Ongoing for 6 months
• FT, long term assignment
• Schedule: Mix of clinic, surgery, and call responsibilities
  • Monday - Friday, 8:00a - 5:00p (lunch 12-1)
    • OR on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
    • Clinic on Tuesday and Fridays
  • Call Schedule: 10-days of call per month; shared call rotation

Clinical Details

• True generalist/joint replacements; provide general orthopedic coverage
• Broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions, particularly within an aging population
• EMR System: Meditech Expanse
• Trauma Level: Not a level one trauma center (Critical Access Hospital)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Orthopedics
• Completion of ACGME Orthopedic residency program
• Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
• Licenses: Ability to quickly obtain a NH medical license
• Experience: Minimum 1 year work experience
• Experience evaluating and treating: Joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder required); experience with common hand conditions such as trigger finger and carpal tunnel (preferred); comfort managing and consulting on spine and back pain (highly preferred)
