You ll play a critical role covering call while delivering life-saving procedures and comprehensive patient care.
Coverage Needs:
- Primary Block: May 25, 2026 (7 AM) June 1, 2026 (7 AM)
- Additional Dates: July 24 August 3 September 25 October 12
- Schedule: 24/7 call coverage throughout assignment on an ongoing basis
Practice Setting:
- Location: Grand Forks, ND
- Setting: Primarily inpatient (with outpatient consults preferred)
- Daily Workflow:
- 1 2 surgeries per day (Mon Fri) depending on caseload
- Inpatient rounding + call coverage
- Afternoon outpatient consults post-surgery
Support Structure:
- Cardiothoracic Surgery APP support
- Dedicated clinic LPN & RN team
- Full operating room staff ensuring efficient case flow
️ Required Expertise:
- Board Certified
- Proven experience in:
- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
- Valve repair & replacement
- Pericardial window procedures
- Lung resections
- Vascular surgeries (including endarterectomies)
- ND license or IMLC
