Setting: Physician Office (Urology)
Organization: Hospital - owned/managed practices
Support Staff: LPNs or Medical Assistants and clerical support
Collaborative Model: Works under a supervising Urology physician
ROLE OVERVIEW
Assist Urology surgeon with diagnosis and treatment of urologic conditions
Perform patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Assist with surgeries and procedures
Provide patient education and manage post-operative care
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Requires manual dexterity, close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Typical noise levels range from quiet to moderate
