We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to an adult patient population in an outpatient setting. This role involves delivering the full scope of services typically expected of an internist or family practitioner, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of specialty services. Outpatient management of HIV disease is included within the scope of care.
Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat adult patients across the full spectrum of general internal medicine
Evaluate patient health status and initiate appropriate therapeutic and preventive care plans
Manage a patient caseload aligned with quality of care and productivity standards
Provide outpatient management of HIV disease
Make timely and appropriate referrals to specialty and consultative services
Collaborate and communicate regularly with other healthcare providers and support staff
Complete all required clinical documentation, including progress notes and regulatory forms
Attend required medical staff meetings and conferences
Maintain professional competence through continuing medical education and external conferences
Participate in teaching and mentoring paramedical personnel in both informal and formal settings
Assist with peer review, chart audits, and other quality improvement initiatives
Supervise patient care activities of assigned paramedical staff
Promptly report any problems or unusual occurrences to leadership

Required Qualifications (Must Have)
Graduation from an accredited Medical School
Completion of an Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Osteopathic Medicine residency program
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
Active New York State medical license with current registration
