Shift Details:

  • 24-hour on-call coverage: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Coverage includes continuous call with pager responsibilities for thrombectomy cases

Weekend Requirements:

  • Weekends are included as part of the 24-hour on-call coverage schedule

On-Call Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour thrombectomy call coverage (7:00 AM 7:00 AM)
  • Respond to stroke alerts and urgent callback cases as needed

Schedule:

  • 24-hour on-call coverage blocks
  • Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Coverage includes continuous call with callback responsibilities
  • Schedule may vary depending on provider availability

Practice Overview:

  • Stroke Volume: 1,000 stroke patients annually
  • Thrombectomy Volume: 165 procedures annually
  • Setting: Hospital-based, stroke-focused care
  • Coverage Type: Emergency stroke intervention and thrombectomy call

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for thrombectomy cases
  • Perform emergent thrombectomy procedures for acute ischemic stroke patients
  • Respond to stroke alerts and urgent callback cases
  • Collaborate with neurology and IR teams for coordinated stroke care
  • Perform image-guided vascular procedures as appropriate
  • Manage inpatient neurovascular cases requiring intervention
  • Ensure timely and high-quality stroke intervention care

  • Mechanical thrombectomy for stroke patients
  • Image-guided vascular interventions
  • Acute stroke response and management
  • Neurovascular emergency procedures

Submission Requirements:

  • Fellowship Trained in Interventional Radiology (IR) OR Interventional Neuroradiology/Neurology (INR) REQUIRED
  • Must be able to perform thrombectomies independently REQUIRED
  • Active IA License - REQUIRED
  • Active DEA REQUIRED
  • Active CSA REQUIRED
  • Must be available for listed dates REQUIRED
