Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join a well-established healthcare organization in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment providing comprehensive psychiatric care to adult and/or adolescent populations.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about mental health, comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling when appropriate
- Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and primary care providers
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License (or willing to obtain)
- DEA License (or eligible)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
