Aequor Healthcare is seeking two experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a locum tenens Cardiology opportunity in Ohio. This is a well-supported assignment with a collaborative team and a manageable patient volume, a great fit for an APP looking for a structured weekday schedule.
Position Details
- Specialty: Cardiology
- Setting: Primarily outpatient clinic with some inpatient consults
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Patient Volume: Up to 12 patients per day
- Start Date: October 2026
- Duration: 8 12 weeks
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide general cardiology care in an outpatient setting
- Evaluate and manage patients independently while collaborating with physicians as needed
- Perform inpatient consults as required (no clinic responsibilities on days with inpatient consults)
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care
Team Structure
- 3 APPs 3 Interventional Cardiologists 1 Electrophysiologist
- Supportive leadership and strong team collaboration
Requirements
- Active Ohio NP or PA license required at time of presentation
- Prior cardiology experience preferred
