Schedule: Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (arrival time 6:45 AM)
Position Overview
Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in a hospital setting. Cases include general anesthesia with opportunities across multiple service lines. No call is required.
Clinical Scope Highlights
Case types may include general, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, urology, endoscopy, vascular, bariatrics, OB GYN, and plastics
Pre anesthesia assessment and patient consent verification
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Continuous monitoring and clinical interventions as needed

MD supervision: Yes
CRNA to MD ratio: 4 to 1
MDs may perform their own cases: Yes
Required Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania state license (compact licenses not accepted)
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Credentialing and Onboarding
Estimated privileging timeframe: 75 days
