SSC Engineering, a nationally recognized, locally-owned consulting engineering firm has a great opportunity in our Chesterfield, MO office for a full-time Structural Drafter and or Designer in the design and construction of a variety of structures ranging from medical, commercial, retail and institutional buildings.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Associate's Degree in Computer Aided Drafting, Revit experience a plus.
Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible.
Proven drafting capability in retail, commercial, senior, healthcare and related markets.
Knowledge of building systems. Consideration given for those with structural experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in the use of AutoCAD and Revit modeling tools
Ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design
Professional approach to work as well as outgoing personality
Excellent communications skills, self-started and desire to grow within the business
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the preparation of detailed prints from engineer's design
Assist in the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) for new buildings, and for renovations and additions to existing facilities
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results in a timely fashion
Create, read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer generated reports
Provide coordination of project designs with other disciplines.
Inform production manager of any observed inaccuracies in projects, project scopes, project schedules
