Mechanical Assembly Technician I & II

Arvada, CO 80004 New Aurora, CO Location Opening Soon!

1st & 2nd Shift Available

Build the equipment that powers critical industries.

We're growing and looking for Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join our production team in Arvada, with a new Aurora facility opening soon. In this role, you'll help assemble advanced switchgear, control systems, and power distribution equipment used across utilities, renewable energy, defense, and other essential industries.

Shift Options

1st Shift

Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  • Mechanical Assembly Technician I: $20-$23/hr DOE
  • Mechanical Assembly Technician II: $24-$27/hr DOE

2nd Shift

Monday-Friday 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM

  • Mechanical Assembly Technician I: $20-$23/hr DOE + $1.00/hr shift differential
  • Mechanical Assembly Technician II: $24-$27/hr DOE + $1.00/hr shift differential

Overtime available based on production needs.

What You'll Do

  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Use hand and power tools to build switchgear, control panels, and power distribution equipment
  • Install hardware, torque fasteners, perform alignments, and complete fit checks
  • Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and 5S manufacturing practices
  • Complete production documentation and work orders accurately
  • Support testing, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams

Mechanical Assembly Technician I

$20-$23/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Perform entry-level mechanical assembly under supervision
  • Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documents
  • Mount components, assemble parts, and assist with wiring and routing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Complete required documentation and production records

Ideal Background:

  • 6 months to 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, production, construction, automotive, or mechanical experience
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Mechanical Assembly Technician II

$24-$27/hr DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all Technician I duties
  • Independently assemble medium-complexity mechanical and electromechanical systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions
  • Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor rework as needed
  • Conduct quality inspections and verify assembly specifications
  • Support testing and quality assurance activities

Ideal Background:

  • 2+ years of mechanical or electromechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong blueprint reading and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand, and work in a manufacturing environment
