What You ll Do
- Provide in-house neonatal intensive care for critically ill newborns in a Level-IIIB NICU
- Manage neonatal emergencies using advanced therapies such as inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), high-frequency ventilation, and hypothermia treatments
- Care for extremely low gestational age infants, including those as young as 22 weeks
- Collaborate with a team of board-certified neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners
- Oversee and support NICU and Well-Baby units as needed
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to regional neonatal care coordination
- Support out-of-house coverage through telehealth services
What You Need
- Valid medical license in Missouri or eligible for licensure
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience preferred
- Basic life support and neonatal resuscitation certifications
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
