Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join our supportive team of 9 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers (APPs) at AdventHealth Central Texas.
  • Work alongside a community-oriented team known for a solid work ethic, passion for community, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
  • Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
  • Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/trained in emergency medicine.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

  • Our flexible scheduling includes four types of physician shifts: day, AM swing, PM swing, and night, designed to accommodate various work-life balance needs.
  • You'll have the opportunity to commit to working 3 shifts in a row, providing more consistency and a better work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care in a 30-bed emergency department with over 50,000 annual visits, addressing various cases in a Level 4 trauma setting.
  • Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Compensation:

  • Competitive compensation at $300 per hour.
