Medicus has partnered with a hospital in Omaha, Nebraska , with an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opportunity Overview:
- Level I Trauma Center
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts (7a-7a), specific dates
- Daily Admissions per Provider: 1-4
- Annual Volume: 150 heart cases
- Duties: Hospital rounds on CTS patients, OP and IP consults, OR coverage for cardiac surgery, and some thoracic trauma
- Procedures Required: Standard cardiac surgery, heart cases, ECMO cannulation, aortic dissections, and CABG
- Support Staff: PAs, NPs, RNs, and scrub techs
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- ACLS, BLS, & DEA preferred
- Paid travel & expenses
