A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join a fast-paced, patient-focused primary care clinic environment. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative care team while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
Position Highlights:
- Outpatient Primary Care / Family Medicine setting
- Patient-facing role in a retail clinic environment
- Collaborative clinical care team support
- Focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness
- Mix of scheduled + walk-in patients
Schedule:
- Initial training: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
- Post-training: 32.5 hours/week
- Every other weekend required
- Possible holiday rotations
Responsibilities:
- Patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Routine exams and preventive care
- Chronic condition management
- Health counseling and patient education
- Basic clinic operations (documentation, follow-ups, etc.)
Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant license (State of Texas)
- NCCPA Board Certification
- BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum 1 year of primary care experience preferred
- Strong communication and ability to work independently
