Join an established Surgical Oncology GI team in Charlotte, North Carolina, providing inpatient and outpatient care support for three surgeons. This locums opportunity is available due to maternity/paternity leave coverage and offers a predictable schedule with no call responsibilities in a Level I Trauma Center.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting:
Patient Volume:
- Cover inpatient floor census of approximately 10-15 patients
- Additional outpatient clinic responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Management of pre-operative and post-operative Surgical Oncology GI patients
- Daily inpatient rounding
- Outpatient clinic evaluations and follow-up visits
- Patient admissions
- Coordination of care with three Surgical Oncology GI surgeons
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary oncology teams
Hospital Information:

- Stroke-certified facility

EMR System:
Requirements
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Required
- Active North Carolina License - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- Experience with surgical patients preferred
- Experience with oncology and/or GI surgery patients preferred
