- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care on the PCU/Telemetry unitRequired Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry or PCU nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale certificationPreferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced PCU or step-down telemetry environment
