A well-established hospital-based radiology department in Central New York (Cooperstown region) is seeking two Diagnostic Radiologists for an ongoing onsite assignment. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday Friday schedule, no call responsibilities, and a diverse, high-volume case mix.
Position Details - Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Call: None
- Setting: Inpatient & outpatient hospital-based radiology department
- Onsite Only (no remote/telehealth)
Scope of Work Provide full diagnostic radiology coverage, including interpretation of:
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound (including OB)
- Plain films
Preferred (not required): Ability to perform screening, diagnostic, and biopsy mammography approximately one week per month
Volume & Support - cases per day depending on modality mix
- Physician-only coverage (no APP support)
Requirements - Active New York medical license
- Board Certified in Radiology (ABR)
- BLS certification
- Comfortable with high-volume diagnostic reads
