The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) is seeking a
full-time Child Abuse Pediatrician to join the comprehensive Child Abuse Pediatrics program at
Oklahoma Children s Hospital at OU Health , Oklahoma s flagship academic children s hospital.
Position Overview The selected physician will provide expert medical evaluation and consultation for infants, children, and adolescents with suspected child abuse and neglect across inpatient, outpatient, and multidisciplinary settings. The Child Abuse Pediatrician will play a critical role in advancing patient care, education, and advocacy while collaborating closely with medical, legal, and community partners.
Clinical responsibilities may include: - Medical evaluation of suspected physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and medical child abuse
- Inpatient and outpatient consultations at Oklahoma Children s Hospital
- Participation in multidisciplinary child protection teams and community response systems
- Expert medical documentation and medical-legal consultation, including court testimony as needed
- Call coverage consistent with program needs (shared among division faculty, if applicable)
This position includes a
full-time faculty appointment at the University of Oklahoma, with academic rank commensurate with experience.
