• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients
• Communicate test results and provide discharge instructions
• Ensure timely patient care per VA standards
• Maintain accurate documentation
Required Documents• Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Surgery
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• NPI & DEA required
• Not listed on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General exclusion list
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
Additional Requirements• Provide on-call coverage (15 min phone / 60 min onsite)
