OB/GYN Hospitalist (Per Diem) Rowlett, TX (Suburban Dallas)

Flexible Per Diem Opportunity in a High-Volume Women s Center

Are you an experienced OB/GYN seeking a high-impact hospitalist role with the flexibility of a per diem schedule? We are seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist to join an established team serving the suburban Dallas community. This position offers the perfect balance of professional autonomy and clinical collaboration within a supportive, 24/7 in-house environment.

The Opportunity

Work within a robust program that manages 1,700 deliveries annually and provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population.

  • Clinical Scope: Responsibilities include OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, inpatient care, and managing unassigned patients/private call coverage.

  • Emergency & Surgical Care: Provide ER consults for GYN emergencies, surgical assists for Cesarean sections, fetal monitoring, and emergency response in Labor and Delivery.

  • Specialty Support: Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU. Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists are available for high-risk cases, with Anesthesiology services available in-house 24/7.

  • Shift Structure: 24-hour in-house shifts, allowing for maximum schedule flexibility.

Location: Rowlett, TX (Greater Dallas Area)

Compensation
  • Standard Hourly Rate: Competitive pay starting at $150 - $225 per hour.

  • Holiday Pay: 1.25x the standard rate.

  • Orientation: 50% of the standard rate.

Candidate Requirements

To ensure high-quality patient care and timely credentialing, candidates must meet the following:

  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN (Board Eligible not accepted).

  • Licensure: Active Texas State Medical License or IMLC.

  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 6 months of specialty-specific clinical experience. Candidates must have been clinically active within the last 12 months.

  • CV Standards: CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained; home address, phone, and email must be listed on the first page.

  • Required Documentation: Must provide a Self-Query NPDB pulled within the last 30 days and a completed prescreen questionnaire at the time of submission.
