OB/GYN Hospitalist (Per Diem) Mansfield, OH

Flexible Per Diem Opportunity with an Established Women s Health Team

Are you an experienced OB/GYN looking for a rewarding hospitalist role with the flexibility of a per diem schedule? We are seeking board-certified OB/GYN Hospitalists to join a highly supportive and cohesive group in Mansfield, Ohio. The Opportunity

Work within a 320+ bed facility that delivers 1,000 babies annually and serves as a vital healthcare hub for North Central Ohio.

  • Clinical Scope: Provide OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and delivery for hospitalized patients.

  • Emergency & Specialized Care: Manage 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, including trauma evaluation of pregnant patients and ED consults.

  • Collaboration: Work in real-time communication with office-based physicians and community OBs to ensure seamless coordination of care.

  • Support: Practice in a Level 3N Trauma Center with access to multidisciplinary OB critical care.

Compensation
  • Standard Hourly Rate: Competitive pay starting at $275 - $230 per hour.

  • Holiday Pay: 1.25x the standard rate.

  • Orientation: 50% of the standard rate.

Candidate Requirements

To maintain our commitment to quality care and expedited credentialing, candidates must meet the following:

  • Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN (BE not accepted).

  • Licensure: Active Ohio State Medical License or IMLC eligibility.

  • Clinical Activity: Must have active OB/GYN clinical experience within the last 12 months.

  • Urgent Availability: Priority will be given to candidates available for June dates (06/01, 06/04, 06/08, 06/12, 06/16, 06/18) and ongoing coverage.

  • Background: Must have a clean background and malpractice history for quick credentialing.

  • CV Standards: CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained; contact information (address, phone, email) must be on the first page.

  • Required Documentation: Must provide a Self-Query NPDB (pulled within 30 days) and a completed prescreen questionnaire upon submission.
