Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Credentialing: 30-120 days
Schedule: 5 or 10 shifts/month (1 Shift = 24 hours)
Call: 24/7 call coverage
Details: 25 bed Critical Access Hospital Trauma Level IV
- Average ED Census: 8-14per 24-hours
- Annual ED Volume: 1800 per year
- Average Inpatient Census- 4-6
Ancillary Support Imaging: M-F and on call
Lab: M-F and on call
Mobile imaging weekly or as needed
2 clinics with physicians and NP s
Services: - M-F 7:30a 5p: ultrasound on call
- Interdisciplinary Team Meeting every morning.
Acuity: acuity is limited to patients able to be stabilized in the ED and managed on med/surg nursing floor
Subspecialty Support: No specialty support in the hospital.
EMR: Epic
Catchment area/Referring Hospitals: Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire, 35 miles. Marshfield Clinic Hospital, Eau Claire 35 miles.
Experience + Qualifications - At least two years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Ability to perform all Emergency Medicine procedures
- Comfortable in an inpatient setting
- Active WI License or the ability to obtain
