Requirements:
- Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
- BLS certification.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care under RN or physician direction.
- Conduct patient assessments and implement prescribed medications and treatments.
- Evaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds; monitor for infection or complications.
- Monitor, record, and report vital signs and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation and handoffs.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and self-care instructions.
- Respond promptly in medical emergencies and follow infection-control protocols.
