Lead Installer/Lead Installer / Service-Capable HVAC Tech (Residential + Light Commercial)

Solutions HVAC LLC - Southwest Washington (Vancouver + surrounding areas)


Solutions HVAC is a local, values-driven company serving homeowners and small businesses across Southwest Washington. We're looking for a lead installer who can also handle basic service diagnostics and light commercial RTU work when needed.


The role (what you'll actually be doing)

Primary (most of your time):

- Lead residential installs start-to-finish (furnace/AC, heat pumps, ductless)

- Run the job with a helper, keep quality high, prevent callbacks

- Communicate clearly with customers and keep a clean jobsite


Secondary (as needed):

- Basic service diagnostics and repairs

(basic electrical within HVAC scope, basic refrigeration diagnostics, airflow/static pressure awareness)


Light commercial (as needed):

- RTU install + basic repairs up to 5 tons


Must-haves (non-negotiables)

- Washington 06A or 06B electrical license

- EPA certification (Type II or Universal acceptable depending on your card)

- Proven ability to lead installs (not just assist)

- Valid driver's license + clean driving habits

- Good communication, ownership mindset, shows up and follows through


Nice-to-haves

- NATE certification

- Strong heat pump + ductless experience

- Deeper RTU/service experience


Pay + benefits

- $45-$55/hr DOE

- Medical after 60 days (100% employee covered or 75/25 employee/dependents)

- 401(k) match: 100% match up to 4% (available at 1 year)

- PTO: 40 hours after 90 days; 80 hours at 3 years; 120 hours at 5 years


On-call

Infrequent and only for true emergencies (extreme temps or risk to life/property). Not a constant rotation.
