Job description

LHH is assisting a dynamic and high-performing financial organization with an HR Generalist or HR Administrator who is ready to expand their scope and grow into a future HR leadership role.

This is a hands-on role designed for a high-potential HR professional who thrives in execution today while building the skills, judgment, and business acumen needed to lead in the future.

What You'll Do (Core Ownership):
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations across benefits, leave administration (FMLA/CFRA), HRIS, and employee lifecycle
  • Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding initiatives
  • Assist with performance management and compensation cycles
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Partner on employee relations and provide thoughtful, discreet HR guidance
  • Identify process improvements and help scale HR programs as the organization evolves
Ideal Profile:
  • 3-5+ years of progressive HR experience (Generalist, HR Ops, or HR Admin stepping up)
  • Strong foundation in benefits, employee relations, and HR operations
  • Comfortable being hands-on while learning strategic HR concepts
  • Demonstrates long-term career ambition in HR leadership
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
  • Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Designed for someone who wants to progress into an HR Manager/Director role over time
  • Approachable demeanor with strong employee relationship building
  • Comes from financial, banking, or small business less than 500 employees.
