Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization in Montgomery County that is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This hybrid role offers exposure to a variety of accounting functions and is ideal for candidates with a background in public audit and assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Asist in monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries and financial reports
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  • Assist with external audits and compile requested materials
  • Analyze financial results and variances
  • Support ad hoc analysis and operational data requests
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or actively pursuing preferred
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience, ideally from public audit/assurance
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:

$55,000-$65,000

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision

PTO is offered on an accrual basis

Paid Sick Leave where applicable by State law
