Position Overview
Emergency advanced practice coverage across two hospital sites within the same system
Cross credentialing required
ICU procedures required
EMR: Epic
Site Details
Site A: 300 beds with 24 ICU beds. Average daily census 15 to 18.
Site A coverage model: day physician and APP coverage. Night APP coverage with physician on call.
Site B: 156 beds with 11 ICU beds. Average daily census 1 to 3.
Site B coverage model: day APP coverage.
Shift Times
Day: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Night: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Wisconsin license in hand. IMLC not accepted.
Board certification
DEA with Wisconsin address
Wisconsin controlled substance registration when required
ACLS
Case logs for the past 2 years
Vaccination and screening documentation including TB
Malpractice insurance history documentation
Credentialing
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 61 to 90 days
