Permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opportunity
Location: San Angelo, Texas
Facility: Newly Renovated Women's and Children's Hospital
Setting: Level II NICU (Transitioning to Level III) POSITION OVERVIEW
Join a growing neonatology team in a progressive and expanding NICU. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, experienced NNP looking for long-term growth in a supportive, team-based environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and develop individualized care plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Assist with delivery room resuscitations and newborn assessments
  • Educate and support families throughout NICU stay
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, RTs, and other staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
SCHEDULE
  • Transitioning to 24-hour shift model for enhanced coverage
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current Texas NP license (or eligibility) - Required
  • Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Required
  • Experience in Level II or III NICU - Highly preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
