An academic medical center in New Jersey is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their team in Monmouth County, supporting general, oncology, and endocrine surgery services.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 4:30pm
- Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
Responsibilities:
- Provide physician assistant support across general, oncology, and endocrine surgery services
- Manage a predominantly outpatient surgical practice with limited inpatient coverage
- Collaborate with surgeons and another advanced practice provider in daily patient care
- Support surgical clinic visits, patient follow-up, and continuity of care
- Contribute to a weekday practice with no call, weekend, or floating requirements
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification
- Surgical experience
Desired Skills:
- General Surgery experience
- Prior locum or travel experience
