- Mon-Fri = 8a-5p + weeknight call (all nights)

Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide cardiothoracic surgery support in both clinic and hospital settingsAssist with and manage cardiothoracic surgical casesPerform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)Participate in post-operative care and patient managementAverage surgical volume: 125 CABG cases annually (few emergent)Collaborate with surgical team and support staffDocument all care in EMR
Call CoverageWeeknight call: Every night during assignmentWeekend call: 24-hour coverageSpecific dates include 24-hour call on June 7 and June 13
Practice SettingLevel II Trauma CenterCardiothoracic surgery program with established case volumeTeam-based surgical environment
RequirementsBoard Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) - RequiredPA License - Open to ALL candidates (a new Physician Assistant license is only taking 4-6 weeks right now) Minimum 2 years cardiothoracic surgery experience - RequiredEVH experience - RequiredCertifications: ACLS, BLS - RequiredMust be able to cover listed dates - Required
