    • Location: Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC
    • Department: Med-Surg
    • Shift: Full-Time Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 Hours Per Week

    What You'll Do:
    Provide direct patient care including:
    • Patient assessments
    • Medication administration
    • Wound care
    • Monitoring acute & chronic conditions

What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Med-Surg unit, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of diverse acute and chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions to support recovery and prevent readmissions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards while managing multiple patients and prioritizing care effectively
