We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide outpatient and inpatient consultative services in Maryland. This opportunity offers a combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and call coverage within a well-supported oncology program.
Overview:
- 4 clinic days per week
- One weekday inpatient consult and night call coverage
- Monday Thursday, 8:30 AM 4:00 PM
- 24-hour weekend call every 4th weekend
- patients per clinic day
- EMR: Epic Beacon
Responsibilities include:
- Outpatient hematology/oncology clinic
- New patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Management of oncology inpatients admitted under your service
- One designated weekday each week covering:
- New inpatient oncology consults
- Overnight call coverage
- Weekend call coverage every fourth weekend (Friday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM)
- Daytime inpatient consults supported by an inpatient APP
Requirements:
- Board Certified MD/DO
- Active Maryland Medical License
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- BLS Certification required
